- It doesn't matter who thinks we are in a recession. As a point of fact, we are not. "Recession" is an economic term with a clear, objective definition: A recession is said to occur when the gross domestic product shows negative growth for two or more consecutive quarters.

- Umm ... sorry to burst your bubble, Mike, but I make a good deal less than $35K per year, and ... well ... I paid a goodly percentage of that in income taxes last year. I'm not sure where the cut-off point is for going tax free, but let me assure you, it's a lot less than $35K.
